Climate Systems Research

Studying climate systems through data-driven analysis, environmental modeling, and applied engineering.

My areas of focus include hydroclimate dynamics, heat risk, and water-energy systems

Physics-based modeling and experimental prototyping of osmotic power and desalination energy recovery, translating membrane-scale performance into system-level feasibility

Environmental risk and equity modeling integrating temperature, air quality, wildfire smoke, and census data to identify double-burden communities under extreme heat

Hydroclimate anomaly detection and regime analysis using multi-source observational datasets to distinguish transient weather shocks from persistent climate shifts

How I work

Reproducible Workflows

Run-from-scratch pipelines with pinned data sources

Transparent Assumptions

Documented indices, thresholds, and hyperparameters used in analysis and modeling

Traceable Sources

Explicit dataset versions and preprocessing steps
